Let's revisit this: you say "You don't need to fight if the resistance is not there."

Rosseau is resisting Noront's efforts to move ahead with Noront's newest high-powered members on the team.

Noront is resisting Rosseau's efforts to completely supplant them.

I am resisting Rosseau's efforts to distance me from my investment dollars.

I see lots of resistance, are you suggesting we should just grab our ankles?

I don't bloody well think so.

This is high-seas piracy at it's best, and I ain't going down without a fight.
