The volume is low as you put it because it is likely that a good number of these shares are just cross sold by the MMs. These aren't real (honest) transactions but for the fact that they do affect the sp.... downward. Shareholders are largely not falling for this crap as I believe most know why they bought in the first place and are waiting for payday.
