Back in Saptember I suggested that for those who need a concrete example to help, and only help, in visualizing the type of wnvironment that would have existed for such as we have in the Mc Faulds Laks area it would not hurt to visit Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, USA. This would help in understanding Volcanic implacement Theory. As for Magmatic implacement, this would help also in visualizing what may, could, would, and likely does occur at depth under crustal rock. The only difference with Yellowstone and the Volcanics we see at places like Mt. Edna is that Yellowstone has not been what is called "ACTIVE" for some 40 million years, but is rather classed as being "Dormant" or "Resting" for quite some long time. However, for thise who have or will visit Yellowstone, you will see that it appears to have considerable interesting Hydrohtermal Activity daily.

PS: Just a simple way for the visualizing challenged to begin to develop an appreciation of haw things (may) actually work.
