"I have been advised that currently, both parties (Crystallex and China Railway) are working diligently to finalize the agreements and continue to work together to advance and complete the transaction. As stated in the Company's communiques, China Railway is a partner whose national identity is politically acceptable to Venezuela. Both parties, including Senior members of the Chinese Government, have sought assurances that the Government of Venezuela will find China Railway an acceptable partner with Crystallex in the Las Cristinas project. Additionally, the Government of Venezuela has advised Crystallex that it views the Strategic Partnership with China Railway most favourably. Crystallex believes that China Railway's commitment to the Las Cristinas environmental permitting process is solid. Once the transaction has been completed, Crystallex will schedule a meeting of shareholders to seek approvalof the terms and conditions of the Strategic Partnership."
