just to back this up and put things into perspective if a dump truck on average get 8mpg at $3.00 per gallon and can go an average of 35-40 miles per hour that's about $15 per hour consumption and that same driver in the mining industry is making $27 per hour plus vac benefits pension etc. so probably about $40 per hour all in to the company therefor the fuel portion would be less than 1/4 of the companies costs for transportation.
