I did some more research and it appears that they fell way short of buying as many shares as they showed intent for. Too bad, it would have served them very well with how the tck.b share price has recovered from a low of about $26 iirc to now $37. Up to a 42% return. If they used the shares as currency to buy Schaft Creek that effectively would have reduced their "cost" of Schaft Creek by some 40%. No small financial feat.
