Something that I believe will work and has been documented time and time again and our countries are too conservative and close minded to entertain the idea, the legalization of drugs, and not because I want to smoke a joint or sniff coke or inject heroin in public or in my house without the fear of incarceration but because getting help for people who need it and who's life may depend on it is far more important than being right. (One of my life's lesson's, that is sometimes you can be right (ego) or happy and not both.) I truly believe it is a win win win, here's why. People who have an addiction get real help, a fraction of the money that would be spent in the prison system is spent on real help. No fear of anal intrusion or death by spoon, the subject kicks an addiction, and the world is a better place.
Incarceration on drug charges of course adds to this colossal waste of money...
