I don't know if anyone has already asked or addressed this, but:

First, please excuse my ignorance on these legal matters ....

1. Does the HTC appeal require that the court accept the appeal first? In other words, is it possible that the appeal could be denied?

2. Does the HTC appeal mean that the other cases that were on hold remain on hold until the appeal is done? My understanding is that the cases were on hold because of the ITC, not the NDoC, so are they totally unrelated. But would an appeal of the NDoC case affect the others?
