The fact that CAT may face possible added operational costs due to Health Care Reform passage has zero impact on PTSC. Yes, CAT licensed PTSC technology as noted, on 2 February 2010. Per the PR from the company, this agreement very likely involved a one time payment, which has very likely already been paid. Had the licensing agreement/contract involved the payment of ongoing royalties, this may have posed a concern. It did not, as historically, if the agreement involved ongoing royalty obligations, this is stated in the announcement PR. Even with ongoing royalties, had they been involved, the concern would be minimal, as the licensing agreement obligations stand regardless of other obligations the licensee may be subject.
This post therefore is 100% politically motivated, especially when recognizing the current national fervor over this proposed legislation. Ergo, the post is deserving of immediate removal.
