Flash-R™ patent portfolio e.Digital's Flash-R™ patent portfolio contains fundamental technology essential to the utilization of flash memory in today's large and growing portable electronic products market.

Here's an idea, let's start a NUNCHI - FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions page... I started with 6 questions, but of course it will grow and grow with more questions and answers. All my references are taken from the Patent US8311522 and the e.Digital NUNCHI page. If you find an error or want an answer to a question just ask.... Now, don't get smart and ask when are we going to get a contract? or when are we going to get revenue?... but I could always ask the Magic 8 Ball but I doubt you'd like the answer....LOL

By the way, we may need to call on FRED to answer some of the questions and some questions may not ever be answered but it's only an idea.

NUNCHI - FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is NUNCHI a mobile phone or application?

No, Nunchi is not a new mobile phone, not an application, and many people are surprised to find that mobile devices are actually only a part of the Nunchi framework.

2) What mobile devices are part of the NUNCHI Framework?

A mobile device may be a cellular phone, wrist watch, mp3 player, portable media player, personal digital assistant (PDA), mobile game console, laptop computer, or any other device which can support a set of sensors and be carried by a user.

3) What other devices are part of the NUNCHI Framework?

Any device that uses sensors or a set of sensors.

4) What is a sensor?

A sensor is a device that detects and responds to some type of input from the physical environment. The specific input could be light, heat, motion, moisture, pressure, or any one of a great number of other environmental phenomena. The output is generally a signal that is converted to human-readable display at the sensor location or transmitted electronically over a network for reading or further processing.

5) What sensors are part of the NUNCHI Framework?

NUNCHI can process any sensor information but here's a partial list of the most commons sensors.

  • Motion sensors

These sensors measure acceleration forces and rotational forces along three axes. This category includes accelerometers, gravity sensors, gyroscopes, and rotational vector sensors.

  • Environmental sensors

These sensors measure various environmental parameters, such as ambient air temperature and pressure, illumination, and humidity. This category includes barometers, photometers, and thermometers.

  • Position sensors

These sensors measure the physical position of a device. This category includes orientation sensors and magnetometers.

  • Health sensors

These sensors detect heart rate, ultrasound sensors, infrared sensors, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, magnetic field sensors, proximity sensors, and other environmental sensors which detect a user environment, or combinations thereof.

6) What is NUNCHI?

In a nutshell, the NUNCHI Patented System can manage your communications and social media, you can also expect Nunchi to determine and support your activities, health, safety, timeliness, priorities and needs. Simply put, you can expect Nunchi technologies to make your life easier by holding back the flood of information and communicating what we need when we need it! When fully deployed, Nunchi provides services in the same way that one would expect a private assistant would today.
