The device does not give notice of infringement. It doesn't have "EDIG, Patent #s XXX" written on it. EDIG did not produce the device, and those that did contend that they do not infringe (except those who have settled, who essentially and deliberately do not typically acknowledge infringement by virtue of settling/buying a license).
