I don't see it as a competion but rather as a service the eVU could offer.

If you rent an eVU you can watch movies or access the internet. EDIG would have to strike a deal with a company like that first but it could be a nice collaboration if it drives interest.

At least, that is how I am interpreting it since it is available to buy for individuals who already have laptops and cell phones.
