I guess anything can happen. It looks like GOOG is throwing money around ...$19 BILLION for an app company (WhatsApp)? That is incredible. SFMI currently valued at $2.4 MILLION. Like you said if/when gold price rises substantially, anything can happen on speculation and euphoria.
