Silver Falcon Mining, Inc. announced the delivery of 33 ounces of precious metal dore bars to its refiner in Florida. By definition "dore bars" is a term applied to such silver bars as contain gold, as well as being alloyed with a small percentage of base metals. SFMI also stated, “The Oro Fino is a rich quartz epithermal gold bearing geological structure at least 3,200 feet deep, where it crosses the Sinker tunnel, and 6,000 to 10,000 feet long at the surface.” According to estimates given by the owner there may be more than 500,000 ounces of gold equivalent available to be mined, milled and poured into dore over the next decade. If expectations hold true, SFMI could have increasing revenues to report in the short term. If they succeed in producing only 20% of estimates that would equates to over $150 million at current market prices for gold. Can you say cha-ching.
With the weakening of the U.S. dollar and the uncertainty of strained relations between nations the demand for gold and silver precious metals is extremely high. The high demand has resulted in an increase in the price of gold and silver, approximately 2% and 3.5% respectively, since April 4th, 2013. Although increasing precious metal prices can only benefit SFMI the real story here is that demand is extremely high and current producers are unable to keep production levels high enough to keep pace. In recent report issued by Charleston Coin Exchange on March, 5th 2013 they state, “With so many investors wanting to swap currency for silver, neither the U.S. Mint nor the Royal Canadian Mint has been able to keep up with purchase requests.” As production ramps up for SFMI there should be an anxious market waiting to purchase all they can mine, mill and pour into dore bars.
