Regarding the 'money in the bank', call IR. It is my understanding that it is pretty quick. 3 to 7 days or so. The idea short term is to sell a smaller amount with this first batch, and if all goes according to plan (ie the contract with Republic is adhered to), a second batch will be sent out immediately.

The idea is partially to show revenues on a monthly basis (ie Oct, Nov, Dec) so the filings show monthly and growing revenues.

I'll be excited if there is any truth to the new TV rumor. If the rumor is true, my guess is that it isn't the Discovery Channel show (Gold Rush), but the Outdoor Station. This would be a huge step up from the info mercial we've heard about previously.
