For those you who may have missed it, I encourage you to take 45 minutes and listen to this interview with Edwin Vieira, author of the famous book: Pieces of Eight. I am not sure of the date of the interview, but it is recent.
Edwin has degrees in Chemistry, Economics and Law. He is an authority on the role of gold and silver as money in USA of yesteryears, and the role it will almost certainly play in the near future.
It is such a joy to listen to an expert who is so wonderfully articulate and beautifully expressive.
Edwin reckons there is no chance Washington, DC will ever acquire or possess the political will to deal with the catastrophic and cataclysmic mess of the paper $US dollar, so it will be the States themselves that will issue gold and silver money as an alternative to the $US dollar.
The States will do this as part of their constitutional right and duty to issue gold and silver money to protect their citizens from the fast approaching economic meltdown.
