Hmmmm, I think Rainer you're forgetting the influence of Market Makers. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/m/marketmaker.asp

Any company worth anything significant has to have Market Makers, people who keep the market liquid. I'm not stating that this is case here, but it's possible, even likely given that nothing fundamental has changed in POET.
