I disagree- a buy out is very possible and for any potential suitor the perfect time to try a low ball offer. If performance metrics of the 40nm prototype and the VCSEL are known then a bidder will want to take us out ASAP before we can get to Nasdaq and the Yankees start to put a crazy valuation on us. If I were Tony Blevins I would be advising Apple to make a very substantial offer which is approved by the BOD and carries a hefty penalty if someone such as Google tries to counter offer.
