Over the longer term yes. During the first period however it would be preferable that the owners retain all their rights to the patents for the use that the products and patents might be contracted for. That would ensure that POET is able to contract for the true value it has created and if that means some exclusive rights so be it. Let the universal patent rights kick in as required. That would also ensure that the leg scientists and management and especially Dr T are fully recognized and rewarded for their efforts creativity and contributions to society. This is very unique situation and requires care and diligence to consider the key issues and ensure proper treatment of the contributors, risk takers and investors.
