The UAE including Abu Dhabi has very close connections with the UK and London. I was at Sandhurst with some of their crown Princes 46 years ago they are still are sent there as part of theireducation.

Given the GF connections in the Gulf it would be perfectly logical for the POET team to have briefed those who own GF who were probably in London visiting their racing stables ready for the flat season.
