Thanks for this TPower, well worth every minute. So much to take from it, I especially liked the comment that if you get something ( such as software/apps) for free you are not the customer you (specifically your personal information/data) are the product.
So many industries/economies will be transformed, some dinosaurs will die overnight, others will hang on for a while, some are already dead and don't even know it.
I think POET's strategy is to attack the high growth, low margin, commoditized component markets and dominate the basic levels of electronics first, then evolve into the more sophisticated devices after their world class metrics have established them as the new leader in the fastest growing hardware technology markets worldwide. My greatest concern is whether they can evolve at the pace that this new automated/"informated" world economy demands, but if I did not believe that they could, I would not be here.
