I said this before and I still think that Trudeau has this well timed. Once he is finished doling out money to this infastructure project and that and completely exhausting the budget he will release the money for the ring of fire and it will be the project that brings the biggest return on his investment. It will be so fantastic! The 60 billion dollar ROI project that will make him look like a rock star. He'll ride that pony right through until the next election.
