This is really getting off topic but read "Well of Lies" for the real story behind Walkerton. The water was not treated properly even though a chlorination system was in the public works building....but not installed because the man responsible did not believe chlorination did anything. This was just one step in a chain of incompetence and negligence that led to the tragedy at Walkerton.
