Not sure why you think posts on this subject should be OT. About 60 shareholders, most of whom are members of this blog, attend the golf tournament and dinner each year and it's always a really memorable event, not only because of the people who attend, but the dinner and the entertainment are always outstanding.

And as a bonus, we also appreciate that management of some of the companies that we follow also come to golf/dine and have fun.

Why don't you come this year and have a chance to sit and talk, laugh, dance and eat well with some of the most interesting people you might ever be able to get in one room at the same time?

There isn't any bitchiness there as there can be on this blog (and you know who you are); just a lot of good people who really enjoy getting together every year and who look forward to meeting anyone new that wants to join us.

And then of course there is the "after party"!

Stratopod puts together an event that is totally outstanding.

So, no, the golf tournament is not OT. Come and see for yourself - you'd be very welcome.
