Khareema, I think you are absolutly right with your speculation of the east-west route regarding what was annonced about communities and hubs. I am also wondering if this is the wisest thinking as far as cost. There was much discussion as to the viability of maintaining a roadway through this type of northern landscape. I remember posts talking of the excessive costs of road repairs outstipping the extra costs of laying a railway bed. There was also talk of the environmental impact of hundreds of large diesel trucks on both air quality and disturbance of animal migrations etc. I guess it is just a wait and see as to what transpires in the end. At this point it is just talk and I am not holding my breath till a specific information financial plan is voted for as a budget item. This is a good start however. the deputy
