Lets take one step back and look at this objectively.

Did anyone know anything about FN living conditions in Northern Ontario prior to the ROF discovery?

No one cared a rats ass about them or even knew of their lives. Queens Park wished they would disapear as they are a constant embarrasment.

Now they ask for a share and people attribute all kinds of motives to them.

What would you do to improve conditions for you, your children and your community?
