CMP, thanks for summarizing how much NOT had done to promote its story.
NOT has had 9 press releases in 2010 and 61 in 2009. The international coverage over the only North American chromite dominance play involving an American major surely exposed us if the proliferation of PRs didn't. To add to this, Noront had 20 corporate presentations in the last twelve months in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Monte Carlo, London England and other Canadian cities. These were at international conventions like the PDAC, World Money Show, Van. Resource Conf., Hard Assets Resource Conf., Int Ferro-Alloy Conf., Resource One Investment Conf., etc. Eight of these corporate presentations were in the last three or four months in the height of the chromite fight. In addition to presenting, Noront has hosted analysts on site. That is a ton of effort at getting the Noront story out there.
This is very commendable effort.
But nothing...nothing.. seems to increase our stock price! When WES took over, one of the things he promised to do was to get our stock price up!
The Manipulators continue their dirty work, the OSC doesn't care, and the blockade hurts us deeply. Added insult is the Windfall gold news, which many of us thought was there all along, and was the main reason we bought NOT.
Yes, I know...be patient, and we'll all be happy this time next year. After 2 years of waiting patiently (I'm not a savy trader) having spent all of my dear investment dollars, I still have an average purchase price of $3.25! So, I continue to wait with Crazydik for that $20.
Many other junior explorers are doing much better. I'm just hoping Vale or Xstrata or BHP etc. will step in soon and take a 10% position, sparking a bidding war!
Any suggestions for WES as to how to launch, or relaunch this rocket?
