Yes, red flags will go up like it or not. There are actually professional trouble makers that search the globe for issues to fight. They identify cases, then look for groups they can link with, and yes then they will send out all sort of information about how bad the mining industry is. They post case studies etc, historically there are lots to choose from, and yes they are pretty powerful.

How do you deal with this, first and foremost you have to be ahead of the curve, yes you have to connect with the local people, get them involved, give them ovnership etc, not just lip service.

Get on board with the local governments, and yes educate yourself about a range of potential environmental and social issues.

The ROF lies in the 3rd largest wetlands area in the world, what a target, something worth saving and keep prestine; For sure there will be sustained pressure onto governments to protect it. The gloves are off

In the end, with proper care, you will be successful, but for sure there will be delays and costs not initially planned for.
