Twas five days before Christmas on the Agoracom site
No one was posting so I thought I just might
So while I sit here and wait for some posts to appear
I will tell you a story of this prosperous year.
The new year had started with the world a big mess
As each day went by my portfolio grew less
I won’t look, I won’t peek, I tried not to worry
Back to work I did go and in a very big hurry.
I thought to myself, this crash can’t last long
So I bought many companies for less than a song
I kept buying and buying as the markets plunged more
The village idiot’s got nothin’ on me I felt sure.
And just when I thought I couldn’t take any more
The markets turned green and started to soar
Up Up it would climb and then drop off a cliff
“I’m no trader” I thought “I invest but…. what if?”
So, I kept half of each and half I did trade
I’d buy more on the dips with the profits I made
I traded and traded until my holdings were free
Then I paid down my mortgage. Yeah! No more KD!
Now I sit back and wait without all that worry
Now here’s where Noront comes into my story
We started this year with our joint CEO’s
They received very cheap options as everyone knows.
They shook up the board and the old guard grew thin
Replaced with new talent, a team built to win
We still needed a leader to make NOT complete
They searched and found Wes and he took the main seat.
The first positive thing that he did I observed
Was gave Richard the respect he earned and deserved
Next came our great Eagle, not one but a nest
Then the ambitious attempt to take over Freewest.
A First Nations Council we added to NOT
Protecting their homeland will not be forgot
Our chromite estimate, Canada’s first we do hold
But we have several more chapters yet to unfold.
We’ve proven up more chrome, nickel and gold
Plus a variety of “iums” our rich land does hold
Yet our land is so vast, drillings just at the start
Unearthing these treasures is more science than art.
Now our drills wait in silence for another new year
NOT’s team has gone home to the one’s they hold dear
The year that has past has been quite a success
Thanks to the drillers, Team NOT, JJ and Wes.
As Richard advised us way back at the start
Hold tight to your shares, don’t let them part
This Ring way up north shall be a great mining site
