Noront saw the vote was too close and in discussions with some major instituations it was decided that they should withdraw thier tender before the deadline friday night.

and

if this then allows NOTs "white knight" to announce thier own offer for fwr?

Not patiently waits for the "white knight" to gain control of FWR and then we amalgamate???

This may be far fetched, but it may be closer to the truth then many think....
