High-grade Ni-Cu-Pt-Pd-Au-Ag-Rh-Cr-V discoveries in the "Ring of Fire" NI 43-101 Update (March 2011): 11.0 Mt @ 1.78% Ni, 0.98% Cu, 0.99 gpt Pt and 3.41 gpt Pd and 0.20 gpt Au (M&I) / 9.0 Mt @ 1.10% Ni, 1.14% Cu, 1.16 gpt Pt and 3.49 gpt Pd and 0.30 gpt Au (Inf.)

I know Macassa Mine is not as deep as some but it is close by in KirkalndLake.

This info is a little dated but still interesting.

Macassa # 3 shaft (Kirkland Lake ) at 7239 feet deep became the deepest single-lift mine shaft in the Western Hemisphere when it bypassed the 7,173 ft Creighton #9 shaft in 1986 & held the record for 14 years, until the LaRonde #3 shaft was sunk deeper to 7,380 ft in early 2,000. Macassa #3 shaft still holds the world record as the deepest single-lift timbered shaft in the world
