P.Smith has continually insisted that the nickel runs right under FNC property. This is why he was surprised when the stock plummeted from missed hits last year. He assumed with geo-confidence that the stock should reflect his confidence too? He makes business mistakes because he has the heart of geo. With a Noront release, hsi stock will catch up to his geo analysis. Pure luck, really.
Summer scenario: NOT releases an excellent New Release. FNC gets financiing to drill. FNC hits nickel. FNC and NOT storm into the multiple dollar SP, creating wide spread anxiety for any major who isn't negotiating with either NOT and FNC. And finally my questions:
1) Why a JV? Why couldn't a company buy out NOT seperately from FNC? 2) is Pat the type to allow a JV with NOT? 3) what would the benefits be to us be with or without a JV? 4) If this new rumor places NOT in the feasable appr. 13mil range, Noront doesn't need FNC. However, leveraging majors with a Voisey II scenario, Noront would need an FNC and NOT combo to reach Voisey's level (perhaps at least 10 times more to equal the eastern hole).
