I must be missing your point, as I still don't get it. The proxy wasn't in any way supposed to help *us*, and yet the SP has crapped out. What's the business case for that? How does that help e.g. McEwen et al? Rationalizing that they can still average down is just that, rationalizing, IMHO.

And I don't think anyone is thinking of running an Agoracom poster slate for the BoD. Speaking for myself only, I'm not qualified. I wouldn't vote for me.

I think the underlying issue is trust, or the lack of it. And I don't see any rational way to argue about that. You trust them, or you don't. And decisions will flow from that.
