I assume you're with TD, I have had similar issues as others here with CIBC timing.

I have a TD account but would prefer CIBC, can't see why such a large time descrepancy between the two - one would think CIBC will loose big time if such is the case.

Anyone else out here have any luck with CIBC?

Hi Overseer. I went in to CIBC here in Kelowna, BC today. They said it'll be at least until April or May before you can trade stocks in this ( Investors edge )account. Right now you would have to go to the teller and tell them to put XXX dollars into the TFSA. I told them I could go across the street or to E-trade and open an account today and start trading.

It was a nice sunny day here in Kelowna......so I went for a walk across the street!
