Legacy of a Proxy Fight

When we first became aware of the dissident attempt to take over Noront, we, the shareholders rose up and met the challenge. Guided by Glorieux and others we responded in a way that definitely made a difference. Our efforts were noticed!

The CBC presentation last evening helped to expose practices in Canada that we have been complaining about for some time. The iron is hot; should we not strike now?

During our proxy fight we mustered the support of the majority of our NOT faithful to vote against the dissident vote. Some say we won and others are skeptical. But the fact is that we did make a difference in the end.

Agoracom represents +/- 49 different companies. What do you suppose would happen if we took a leadership role and mustered the retail vote in those 49 companies to put pressure on our MPs to do something about the fraud in our markets. Arlo Guthrie was once overheard to say that 'we have a movement'.
