Questions have been asked on this board on how the gold that is mined at Windfall will be alloted to each company.
The gold ore that has been mined on the F17 vein (Mugor/Freewest ownership) will likely be mixed in with what is mined from the Noront zones W2 thru 8 as the tonnage will not be enough to justify a separate mill run. The recovered gold ounces following the mill run will likey be assigned to each company on the basis of tonnage calculations from the volume mined together with a grade from each volume. The grade for each calculated volume will be based on sample information from diamond drilling, chip sampling from the development headings and muck samples. These calculations are based on accepted industry standards and are fair to all parties.
Earlier we heard that Noront had requested that the mill install a gravity concentration circuit before milling the bulk sample. This is good news to the shareholder as it indicates that they expect (are hitting??) considerable visible gold. The advantage of a gravity circuit (likely a Knelsen concentrator) is that it will take out +/- 75% of the coarse gold prior to the leaching circuit thereby minimizing circuit losses and providing immediate production that can be directly refined in the bullion furnace.
Am betting that we will be hearing some good news from Windfall before the AGM that will leave egg on the faces of the Rosseau bandits.
Long and strong with current management (votes are in for Dick and his talented staff).
JMHO,
