By the rule shors are not allowed if SP is lower $1.

At least for regular players. To move the price down you need to sell your real stock.

As for me I tried to short NOT in 2007 when it was @.9 (before RoF activity) and TD webbroker did not let me to sell shorts at that time because of the SP was slightly < 1 CAD.

Please, correct me if I am wrong.
