Nice rant! I was riding around in a pick up truck in the high desert yesterday for 15 hours, kicking rocks and visiting mine properties. The geo I was with shares the exact same opinion as most of the people on this forum about the ridiculous entitlement bonanza for unproductive people in the US socialist state, and we have some long conversations about the very same points you have raised. It did make the day go faster.
I was short Kinross on friday and covered that today, plus did some buying of bargain juniors today. I think gold and silver are going to break out in August and surprise a lot of people. The rise in the metals is making fools of those who were calling for a top during the last few weeks. Money will follow into the discount juniors and I think we are set up for a huge fall rally. So those who are so discouraged with companies like ECU may find some relief shortly.
