Haven't posted for while and just been waiting like everyone else here for news. Been in with CUU since 2009 and have "Followed the Money" since then. Have continued to accumulate shares these past 4 years including just prior to the backin announcement. Have not sold any CUU shares EVER and will continue to hold and accumulate unless the insiders dump their shares(which would be tantamount to "hari-kari" for them).
The main insiders (Ernesto and David) DEFINITELY can't get out of their position without a buyout offer. Because of Ernesto's low ACB, I'm encouraged that Ernesto "stuck to his guns" and did not accept an inferior offer that might have come up this recent set of negotiations and would have provided a liquidity event for him at a profit. Why wouldn't he just "take the money and run" to all the other discounted investment opportunities available out there now?
Ernesto has pumped in over $20million these past couple of years on various purchases @prices substantially higher than our current sp. It would appear that he is willing to risk all that he has invested for a higher liquidity event with cuu even tho this is such a lousy time for junior miners and the commodity sector. I am also encouraged that David and his wife continues to accumulate shares after the recent back in and that we are further "derisked" with Teck's back in decision.
So if Ernesto and David continue to put their money on the line with CUU, I will continue to hold and accumulate and "Follow the Money"
