We deserve clear concise confirmation that the clock is indeed officially ticking if indeed it is. I still believe it isn't only because I have no refutable evidence to support the assertion.

"We deserve...". Really? Are you sure about that? Don't hold you breath for blow by blow reporting on what is going on, darpa1. "Buyout negotiations" typically don't allow for a company to publicly talk about anything.
