Deeppockets, the Liard shares are not worth nothing, not by any measurement, especially since the BFS is out. The Liard shares would be worth many, many multiples of Teck's cost basis. A disposition at fair market value would expose to taxation tens of millions in taxable gains, and for nothing. Ouch.
