Considering the size of this resource and the potential for huge expansion of more metals with higher grades a Major like Teck would not use the discounted cash flow method as a final determinant to place a fair value on it. Besides that a cash multiple of 2 - 2.5 times would be considered extremely low for a resource this large with decades of mining life in it. Other posters here have done alot of research into placing a fair value on this resource using different methods and most have come to the conclusion that CUUs portion is worth at least $4 - $5/sh if Teck backs in for the full 75%.
