I'm keeping a small account open for trading juniors, but the rest is gone and won't be coming back. I can say that with certainty because it's obvious the system will never be fixed, and I don't intend to go down with the ship.
So what to do with the cash? I guess the idea of super low interest rates was to drive us into riskier assets, no? But hey... I'm already there! Does it get any riskier than gold explorers and wildcat drillers?
Maybe I'll invest in myself... start a business. Maybe that's the silver lining to this collosal failure we call a "financial system?" Maybe people will start investing in themselves again.... start producing goods and services that other people will buy with money earned from their own business?
Ahhhh..WTF. Maybe I'll just head to Vegas instead. At least there I know the odds.
