This is my top spec. I added today based on the 'tape.' The stock had plateaued, showing just some incremental improvement, until today.

I had been thinking this one would be the key play in the new yukon gold rush and today it gave me a signal I might be right, eising 6 percent on volume of 350,000 shares and NO NEWS.

We know the company planned to use five drills at their huge RAU prospect in the yukon.

in fact, they said they were mobilzing two separate crews with separate camps in order to access far flung portions of their holdings which they judged were worth prospecting, trenching, or drilling.

they are looking for extensions of the same occurence they found in their discovery zone during the last two drilling seasons which is finely disseminated gold, dust really, that is fairly evenly distributed.

if the guys behind atac are right-- and they are crack geologists -- they may have found the yukon equivalent of the carlin trend in nevada.

Chartwise, my untrained eye sees a real nice support line at c$1.42.

real reasons for owning CRJ.TO (CGR in u.s.) are two:

1. the 100 percent owned madsen property with three old high grade gold mines on it that is all a stone's throw away from goldcorp red lake mine, the place where they found out the gold runs deep in red lake and gets better the deeper u go. claude owns a dormant mill and tailings pond there which are already permitted, and is currently dewatering and renovating the 4,000 foot deep shaft. i believe they have already identified 1 million oz of gold proximal to the shaft.

2. bob buchan's purchase of more than 10 percent of claude as of late 09. he is the founder of kinross gold, so he knows a few things about rollups. lol. he is currently exec chairman of allied nevada, a u.s.$1.23 billion market cap stock that needs a second act.... being on claude's board gives buchan total access to information, a significant edge if you are also involved in deciding whether to acquire...

my prediction is that allied nevada will acquire claude in a stock deal. buchan is simply front running that deal, although i do not mean that term in any illegal way. it is totally legal and smart and i hope it happens!!!

if it does, my net worth goes up.

i started with oro gold.

the more i read, the more i liked what management is doing at both sites.

this is more of a crap shooot that oro gold but with a market cap of roughly $10 mm and strong insiders with connections, i think it is underpriced compared to the drilling they have already accomplished at compas.

the stock had fallen out of its bed in the low 20s and has good bounceback potential just based on the fact that the promoters of both stocks are in the midst of a roadshow right now, pushing both presumably.

on the fundamentals, if they hit a long stretch of high grade with that deep drilling they are doing now, the game is won.

HI TSL. I read on SI that Canaccord biggies met with OGR management today. then i see canaccord being a really bigtime buyer of the OGR stock tuesday afternoon. I think that is a positive indication of what is in that 515 m hole. There must have been a wink and a nod, at least....Michael aka PurplePete aka paperperson

it is an early rare earth play with assays pending which has just augmented its holdings at a quebec province site called Lac Sairs. Going back through the news releases, i found the following which i decided could explain the surge in the stock in recent days

the company indicated on Sept. 16 2009 that it was getting high REE readings along a border of its property.

then, on oct. 8, just three weeks later, the company announced that it had acquired additional acreage at Lac Sairs:

(FLX: TSXV and F7E: Frankfurt) is pleased to announce that it has acquired 2,300 hectares (23 sq.km) surrounding the very promising REE Lac Sairs' property located in the Kipawa alcalin complex 100 kilometres northeast of North Bay (Ontario) within northwestern Quebec near the Quebec-Ontario border.

The Lac Sairs' property is now comprised of 56 mineral claims, covering a surface area of over 3,200 hectares (32 sq.km).

"This is a very strategic acquisition because Fieldex will be very active in this rare earth alcalin complex in the coming weeks, a drilling campaign will take place as soon as we will receive the assays from the laboratory " said Martin Dallaire, president and CEO of Fieldex Exploration.

so my guess is that the some assays have arrived and that the best dirt is near the old border and that the new property encompasses the best dirt much more fully.

palladium is the hottest metal on planet earth right now, there are really only two palladium stocks in north america, and nobody bothers showing up here?

I have been in and out and back into these warrants twice already.

they were 40 cents on the day of issue. now they are 93 cents.

even starting from the 60 cent level when i mentioned them here in october, that is a 50 percent plus move to today!!!

the stock has moved from under c$3.00 to c$3.80 just in December!
