Re: As market conditions improve....

Nice to see another long term shareholder back here.

I too was looking forward to our SP following the copper rally, sadly it seems we are still at the mercy of Teck and their long drawn out plans (if any) for SC.

I also wish we could reduce our overheads, like a $300k salary, especially if we are going to be whistling Dixie for another couple of years.

Re: is this some kind of joke?

They did tell us that a while ago, the word "soon" was used a lot...now we just sit and wait or sell and go away. I choose to still wait but only because I think that this is one of the longest games of chess in the commodities sector. The world stopped making reasily accessible raw materials a long time ago.

I'm still waiting but learned a valuable lesson several years ago, never expect the unexpected...and when you leave 171 mt as waste rock, plus identify a whole bunch of new prospects, the word "soon" takes on a rather ironic meaning.

Now back to my copper lined dungeon...

Re: nice 1 hour rally

I'll believe that the exit plan is finally here when we get the volumes of late 2010-early 2011 again, which is when I started buying into this play thinking that it would be a slam dunk in less than 6 months. So many factors have came into play since then to have us where we are right now, but the potential is still there, we just need the macro economics to finally work in our favour.

Hopefully a new baseline is developing and the relatively small PP is a good sign for the future.

Re: Next generation mines- Provided by junior explorers

I have wondered for a long time the logic behind not proving up the waste rock. Too many conjectures and not enough solid evidence on why the drills were stopped early when they could have IMO easily done another two cores to firm up that 171 tonnes and made the January 2013 FS a stellar document. I was told by ES that poor weather was to blame for flying up to site, but that has been lambasted in the past by several long term posters on this board.

I'll wait until the end of this month before making my own conclusion on what ES is actually doing here, which I'm still hoping will result in my ACB being multiplied by a rather nice factor after investing in this play over 5 years ago. If nothing positive happens for CUU I'll just resign to waiting even longer for payback on this investment. The EA progression would IMO be a positive sign that Teck wants the SC project to move forward.

I think we all know that the stock is seriously under-valued, why that has been done is really anybody's guess, but the core sample results tell us what is there and it hasn't moved anywhere, only the costs have changed with exchange rate fluctuations and market conditions.

Good luck to all, surely we're due some by now.

Re: Teck Named to the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations List

Here are my suggestions to your questions:

1) Read the latest CUU presentation, in particular what is stated as the life of mine in the various feasibility studies performed to date

2) Decide for yourself what your confidence level is in what CUU has presented and make your investment decision based on that

3) Please post any off topic questions in the relevant discussion board to leave long term shareholder such as myself to continue awaiting a hopefully positive outcome

Now off I go back to winter hibernation...Zzzzzzzz
