Re: VICTORIA GOLD SELLS RELIEF CANYON PROPERTY IN NEVADA

I liked Relief. Right in the middle of many mills and not too far to roads and workers; it had the makings of a good mine. The 2 mill from Newmont will be useful though I don't know about the options and the unlikely smelter returns. But what wasn't cover was our other deal with Newmont at Cove. I think they owe us about 7 mill there and a 'clean pass' or maybe some support in getting that going.

Re: Victoria Gold Corp. Announces Appointment of John McConnell as President and CEO

I'll stick my foot in that cow-pie.

When I came on board we had some really good prospects in Nevada by a world class structural geologist(the guy was magic). Then we got Chad and the ground was good and there was a guy I could trust to forestall the rip-off take-overs, get the stuff in the furnace and not loose the siver etc on the way by. Though all the market manipulation by ... he became the asset that could justify holding on to this stock that rarely broke 1.50. The guy could do mergers, contracts, talent search, finance, talk/public relations and think his way around the problems in the shark tank that is mining; his interests and mine were the same, financially. Why have I lost this asset? Does anyone know? Heart attack, family death? Out west here, we've been using Chad as one of the main assets for a while and now I don't know. Vit has done quite well relatively through the crisis so I want to know why we lost this man.

I will be buying stock in his next project.

Re: What ever happened to Childjames and SoloBeamer?

I've been here since before Agora, as they were. Back then VIT was an exploration company with stardust on it's sites, I can't believe that the new up bidders even know what a great prop. it is but Chilled and Beamer may not have been able to hang on for this break-out but they could see it coming even then. From back then you would know that the 43-101's are a scant reflection of what the properties are about. The transition from exploration company to gold company has not been entirely bloodless and the opposition aren't all nice guys. I can't believe that some people are still asking for daily drill results. Miner's never say what the drill results are. What I want to hear about is permits and re-usable pads. It seems the big boys can find info as well as Beamer could(what a genious). It'll keep going up. I'm sorry we can't float Beamer's boat.

Re: Proactive Investor Interview with Chad Williams on July 6th

The theory of day trading has nothing to do with value. It's a parasite on growth. The two ideas are diametrically opposed.

Re: naked shorting

I think that's what I said. My friend wrote: Thoughts on Rgulation,

"I have been sitting here quietly considering the baffle-speak today towards regulation of the various exchanges - and believe me, it is readily apparent that the situation (with the various exchanges having different rules about stop trades on drops) is inherently flawed.

But the thought that has been nagging me is this...it may be really good to have one system of rules that immediately stops trades after a certain percentile loss, and this might just prove a protection to a similar thing happening again (and I think that it will) but could also be an impediment to those manipulating too (but this could be another movie). BUT if they over regulate this - then would not the logical thing for any self-respecting market manipulator to do would be to simply pop the market upwards...and once the frenzy starts, start bailing all the way down again. Still theft, but under another name. Would this not then simply trigger a similar regulation the other way? The road to hell is paved with good intentions...and I can think of a fair number of stocks that popped hugely (and we think legitimately) on a news release...could this not make the whole system unworkable?"

I think that says that protection from super-drops will also steal the the core chance of upswing in the minor metals from their due profits. It's "nakeds" that have killed the market. Selling without owning is theft. They didn't even pay/register 'margin'.
