In case some of you didn't get it the message I copied it below.

By the way, for those of you on the email list, what is the signifcance of the 3 sopranos? Is it just to tell ourselves to relax and enjoy ourselves while we wait?

Goldie (still keeping positive and still kicking)

Re: Muddled

Well Muddled – I think you should change your name to “Thinking Straight”. Thank you for your wonderful post last weekend.

I agree with you that people should be encouraged and not mocked to get the best. I also don’t get the whining from some people on this board (except the newbies – I know what they want). Do they think whining helps anything? It is so non-constructive. Either this thing is going to be the best thing that happened to our portfolios or the worst. At least we still have hope. That is why I keep referring it to my Lotto ticket. I guess I should clarify that to say that I consider it to be a Lotto ticket that I still hold – the draw has not been held yet. But, of course, I didn’t consider it as my Lotto ticket when I bought it. From the amount of shares I hold I had/have way more hopes for it than just a Lotto ticket – but the outcome will be the same – either I win or lose or stay the same. Right now, I’m the same portfolio-wise – it hasn’t been going up or down!

The last several months I have being going through so many unexpected things (just like WWF). I had to have another MRI with a biopsy on the other one, then an operation on both, and my radiation got delayed so much. The waiting was worth it though as I am happy to say that I there was no more cancer (and it hadn’t spread). I am now half-way through the radiation and will be finished in a week and a half (had the first operation in May – so you can see how much of a delay there has been). I kept thinking – “When I get through the last part of this procedure then Winfield will be back”.) My doctors thanked me for my patience (I won’t go into all the things I had to do). Lucky I am a very patient person for most things I have to do in life. I, of course, am going to be disappointed that we will not be trading by October 8th, but I’m still as optimistic as ever. As well, I have my head on straight and will continue to be thankful that I am cancer free. WWF will be such a lovely bonus for me if it comes through.

Give Michael a break. I agree with Muddled that he needs our good vibes right now. We don’t need to condemn him – we need to encourage him. As far as I can see he has been doing his best. If you are going to whine (and you actually own it), please don’t’ come back here and pat yourself on the shoulder and say what great wisdom you have when everything pans out.

I'm as optimistic as ever (but like all, a bit frustrated and disappointed that nothing is happening).

Anyway, good luck all.

Thanks Roy and Gabby

I have posted an email from my best friend on the off-topic forum. When I first got into WWF I encouraged her to buy it (with the caveat that it was like going to the craps table). She lives in Vegas (but Canadian like me).She has an RRSP in Canada and bought 100,000 when it was at $0.18).Unlike so many here that so want to bash it, she has the same philosophy as me.It is like holding a lotto ticket that you can hold that never seems to expire and will one day will hold some excitement (and if not – c’est la vie).I have never heard a complaint out of her. Here are my favorites farmer’s saying from the one I posted on off-topic post:

  • Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you. (Thanks Roy for getting rid of Skinny 4/Smokinmirrors – he was the loudest voice here and didn’t even own anything although he seemed to be chomping at the bit to get in – i.e. .saying he wanted in at $0.02 – I don’t care how many cents or dollars something costs - if you are complaining so much about management before you even buy it – why buy it?)I know he used to own it and sold at a loss, but that is no excuse.

  • When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty. (same as above)

  • Most of the stuff people worry about ain’t ever gonna happen anyway.

  • Always drink upstream from the herd.

  • Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment.

Well the last one will have to see for itself for me whether I had good or bad judgment, but whatever it is I’ll stand by it and not complain.Like Gabby-Haze (my favourite poster language-wise) I love having that ticket in my pocket!

Good luck to all,

Rarebird's nest egg

Rarebird. It is lovely to see you back in fine form with all your feathers getting puffed and preened and ready for action. Thanks for your contributions to the board and efforts to keep us upbeat – I’m starting to feel excited now too, your excitement is contagious, and I’m looking forward to my ice-cold tarry coke and Ras-Lanuf burger soon.

You said in one of your posts:

it is no fun being degraded by my son almost on a daily basis for having lost my whole "nest egg" in wwf. However my intuition and from studying the hard facts on this forum...provided and contributed by key members, RR ,Gumby and Grant primarily ...I cant help but feel very excited and upbeat that wwf will beat all odds to reward us for all the pain and agony suffered in the past 2 years.

I think you are onto the fact that instead of hatching a chick from your nest egg maybe you will hatch an elephant, bearing in mind the gestational period for an elephant is about 22 months and you are indeed a Rarebird!(Or you are getting Dr. Seuss’s Horton helping with the nesting.)Anyway, hopefully your nest egg (and mine and all of us patient ones here) will result in triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, sextuplets or more. Here is a photo of what you could hatch from one of your nest eggs.(Won’t your son be stunned?)

Good luck to all,

Goldie

Re: CNSX I found it!

Hi Poop - Go to the link library to the left of your screen - there are a lot of CNSX links there. To see if your bank trades there see the February review.
