LOL, IMO its pretty blatant she wants to hang onto the very end. But the question that many may be overlooking is "why".

Why would this lady be so desperate to remain a part of the company? If one would weigh the options and alternatives, I suspect her desperate attempts at remaining in the company would be the most undesireable or productive for her. Lori had the liberty to walk away for months now, yet she will not and risks more degradation of her character from her own demise. What is really at stake that would make one fight so hard?
