St. Elias Mines

There has been talk on the forum of how shareholders might be paid in the event of a sale of the Tesoro property. Most of the posters on the forum seem to be Canadians. I am wondering if there is anyone here from the U.S. who would know anything about the tax ramifications for U.S. citizens based on various buy out scenarios - dividend versus royalty versus stock purchase. A million bucks can be diminished in a big hurry depending on tax rates. (I have heard this discussed on the forum to an extent but only from a Canadian perspective.)
