Probe Mines

Growth through Discovery Canadian Base and Precious Metal Exploration

Hello PDAC attendees,

PDAC: Metro Toronto Convention Centre 222 Bremner Blvd., Toronto, Ontario, Canada

If any of you are in the Toronto area and planning to drop by PDAC/PRB booth. Dave is scheduled to give a presentation...Not sure if PRB has some core samples in the core shack (or at the booth). If you have a chance, please ask the question:

"Has PRB got any samples that show visible gold?".

As I recall there are some short section, ~1m, that has grades ~200gpt. These holes are located near section 2000SE). In the website below, MEK shows some very samples with visible gold.

It would be nice to have similar pictures from PRB. It would be more difficult to visualize 200gpt of Au, but a picture is worth a thousand words and it would stick around in people's head for a long time).

It would be handy to have a digital camera along (but a phone can take good pictures these days) to snap a few pictures of the samples to bring back. By the way, a no-flash picture of the overhead projection during the presentation is fine too. If Dave flashes a picture of sample that has visible gold on the screen, and it's too quick for a picture. The trick would be to ask the presenter to go back to that slide... and snap the picture...This can be done (even) during the presentation, if one is brave enough, or during the question period (Dave; Could you go back to slide X, the one that shows visible gold...then "snap" before asking the question). Tricky, eh?

Imagine, if there was similar visible gold in the samples, Dave and the drillers would not have to wait for the lab to do the analysis. There would be cheering, hugging all around...and dancing on the ice surface seeing this kind of thing. May be they did all that but forgot to tell us...for fear that we would get too excited.

Some info on PDAC/PRB is given in the link below

Good luck with your search for a core with visible gold (from PRB, of course)

Happy conferencing
